Firmware Engineer Intern

About the Role

• Firmware Engineer Intern at Mozek Healthtech Pvt Ltd, a deeptech startup in digital health.
• Focus on building breakthrough technologies to assist individuals with brain disorders.
• Internship duration: 3 months, with potential for full-time conversion.
• Location: In-Office / Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Expected responsibilities for an IOT Engineer: Embedded Firmware:

• Develop firmware primarily in C.
• Engage in embedded development practices.
• Write drivers for peripherals using interfaces like I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Study and analyze component datasheets.
• Work with embedded platforms such as ESPs, NRFs, NXPs, and STMs.
• Use JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, and other debugging tools.
• Design and implement asynchronous or concurrent multithreaded systems.
• Understand common protocols for hardware communication and software modules.
• Participate in hardware-software debugging.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Fluency in C development.
• Experience with embedded development practices.
• Experience writing drivers for I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
• Desired experience in Linux and other micro kernels, with attention to performance, memory utilization, security, and extensible architectures.
• Proficiency in datasheet study and analysis.
• Experience with ESPs, NRFs, NXPs, and STMs.
• Good understanding of BLE Technology.
• Experience using JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, and other debuggers.
• Experience in designing and implementing asynchronous or concurrent multithreaded systems.
• Understanding of common protocols for hardware and software module communication.
