About the Role
This is a temporary, fast-paced position providing engineering solutions to environmental challenges at the Aberdeen Sawmill. The role involves assisting with the implementation of a study plan to identify sawmill stormwater treatment options.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of a stormwater treatment study by:
- Developing study procedures from a study plan
- Following Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) in sample collection and laboratory analysis
- Performing laboratory analysis of samples and quality standards
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory necessary for study phases
- Maintaining study documents

Qualifications
- College-level coursework in engineering or natural science
- Strong understanding of analytical methods and quality control
- Excellent demonstrated laboratory discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and writing skills
- Thorough and organized
