About the Role

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications in close collaboration with product and engineering teams. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting user research.
• Creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Iterating based on feedback and usability testing.
• Maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
• Documenting design decisions for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participating in design reviews, workshops, and project planning sessions.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in user interface design and visual design, including layout, typography, color, and interaction patterns.
• Experience in user experience design activities such as user research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with design systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, communicating design concepts clearly.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Basic knowledge of front-end capabilities (HTML, CSS, and common frameworks) is beneficial.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end UI/UX work, including problem definition, design process, and final outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfort with feedback and iteration.
• Commitment to inclusive, accessible design practices.
