About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineering Intern position based in Mumbai. You will support the design and development of medical devices and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with CAD modeling, engineering drawings, and basic simulations.
• Conduct engineering analyses.
• Contribute to prototyping and testing activities.
• Document findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Help manage small project tasks.
• Maintain organized records of design iterations.
• Communicate progress and technical insights to mentors and stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mechanical Engineering fundamentals:
• Knowledge of materials
• Knowledge of mechanics
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating 3D models, technical drawings, and design revisions.
• Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and evaluating design performance.
• Communication skills for clear documentation, teamwork, and coordination with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Basic Project Management abilities to prioritize tasks, track milestones, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical devices, biomedical engineering concepts, or healthcare regulations is beneficial.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
