About the Role

Psychology Intern - Autism Intervention Program

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing autism intervention and therapy programs under supervision.
• Observe and document child behavior, progress, and developmental milestones.
• Participate in developmental assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and session notes.
• Coordinate with parents and caregivers and VR professionals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (B.Sc Psychology, BA Psychology) or related fields.
• Fresh graduates and final-year students can apply.
• Candidates with coursework and interested in Child Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or Behavioral Sciences are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and individuals with developmental needs.
• Basic understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Observation and reporting skills.
• Patience, empathy, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exposure to assessment and therapeutic techniques.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3 to 6 Months
• Location: Chennai HO (Perungudi)
• Mentorship: From experienced psychologists and therapists.
• Completion: Certificate of Internship upon successful completion.
