Content Specialist UPSC

About the Role

Unacademy is hiring a Subject Matter Expert – UPSC to join their content team in Bengaluru. The role involves creating high-quality study material for UPSC aspirants, turning complex concepts into clear and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, create, and review UPSC-focused study material and notes.
• Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the UPSC syllabus and latest exam trends.
• Simplify complex topics into clear, structured, and exam-oriented content.
• Analyze UPSC trends and ensure important concepts are covered.
• Work closely with Content and Product teams to maintain high editorial standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• UPSC Mains appearance at least once.
• Strong understanding of Polity, History, Economy, and Ethics.
• Excellent research, writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to create content that is both accurate and engaging.

Note: The UPSC Mains requirement may be relaxed for candidates with exceptionally strong storytelling, writing, or creative content skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in content writing/editing for UPSC or competitive exams (Good to Have).
• Ability to analyze PYQs and convert insights into high-quality study material (Good to Have).
• Experience creating educational content in a fast-paced environment (Good to Have).

Selection Assignment

• Create sample notes on any two UPSC-relevant topics in a creative storytelling format.
• Content should cover important UPSC points while maintaining a smooth and engaging flow.
