Software Engineer Intern

• Support the development of software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to back-end web development, API integrations, and application debugging.
• Write clean, well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Assist in testing and troubleshooting.
• Help implement object-oriented programming concepts in real projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Follow DevOps and Agile practices where applicable.
• Continuously learn new tools and frameworks relevant to KXP’s technology stack.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in software development using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to work with REST APIs, basic databases, and Git.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical code.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Good to have: Django REST, Next.js/React, MongoDB, OpenCV/ML, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Three.js / R3F.
