About the Role
Lianna's Lens is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX & Web Design Intern to assist with the redesign and improvement of LXNPhotography.com. The intern will leverage completed user research and UX discovery to develop practical design solutions and create a more intuitive, visually engaging, and responsive website experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing user research and UX findings
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Redesign website pages, layouts, and user journeys
- Improve navigation, usability, and calls to action
- Design responsive desktop and mobile experiences
- Assist with design implementation in WordPress and Flothemes
- Optimize images, website performance, and page speed
- Support accessibility and SEO-friendly design
- Test, review, and iterate on designs based on feedback
Requirements & Tech Stack
- UI/UX Design and responsive web design
- Experience with Figma and other design tools
- Experience with WordPress and Flothemes
- Graphic design and visual communication
- Website performance optimization
- SEO and accessibility
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Note: Experience with every tool is not required. The focus is on creativity, collaboration, a willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for a real-world website redesign project.
Commitment
- Minimum 4 months
- 10+ hours per week
- 1 hour weekly virtual team meeting
- 30 minutes weekly working session
Location
- Remote within the United States
California candidates are particularly welcome.
