About the Role
The HR and Accounts Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations and assisting with accounting tasks to ensure smooth HR and finance operations aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations.
- Maintain employee records.
- Administer HR policies.
- Coordinate recruitment activities.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with drafting and updating job descriptions.
- Handle basic payroll inputs.
- Monitor attendance.
- Coordinate benefits and statutory compliance support.
- Process invoices.
- Track expenses.
- Support bookkeeping.
- Assist with reconciliations and documentation required for audits.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including experience with core HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Ability to develop and implement HR Policies and procedures, with a clear understanding of compliance and best practices.
- Experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Competence in Job Description Development.
- Foundational accounting skills, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with tally accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfort with digital HR and accounting tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in HR or accounting are a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or similar highly regulated industries is beneficial.
