Global Business Services (GBS) delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. In India, GBS operates as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI). The Global Technology division manages the critical systems and platforms that form the backbone of the company's retail, commercial, and institutional businesses, as well as key support functions globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications and business process re-engineering.
• Code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure successful integration into internal banking applications and systems with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.
• Participate and contribute to delivery/release (CI/CD) events (e.g., branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes).
• Document models and findings, and support data collation and processing.
• Perform proof of concept to implement new ideas or mitigate risk.
• Ensure execution and delivery meet technology expectations in terms of functionality, quality, performance, reliability, and timelines.
• Work with global development teams and business partners across APAC, EMEA & AMRS to translate business/functional requirements for banking, trading, and markets.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve incidents and issues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Yarn, Hive, Sqoop, Impala, Hue, Python, SQL, Scala, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Shell Scripting, ETL, Quartz, Teradata, Datastage, Tableau
• Experience in Agile methodology, Process Improvement, Excel, JIRA.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix.
• Strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Eligible Final year students from the Class of 2027 ONLY.
• Degree Type: BTech, B.E.
• Major Specialization: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology.
• CGPA: 80% in the last semester OR CGPA of 8 on a scale of 10 in the last semester with no pending backlogs.
• Work Experience: No work experience, freshers only.
• Foundational Skills:
• Hands-on engagement in full software lifecycle activities (requirements analysis, coding, testing, deployment).
• Strong knowledge of development and testing practices and design patterns for complex applications.
• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of programming languages, data visualization tools, application frameworks, distributed systems, and databases.
• Basic proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#/.NET, C++, Python.

Other Campus Eligibility Requirements

• Students with Indian citizenship and residing in India.
• Students should be open to any roles they are finally selected for.
• Students should be open to join any of our 5 locations: MUMBAI, CHENNAI, GURUGRAM, HYDERABAD, GIFT CITY.
• Students must be open to work in any shifts, including night shifts, rotational shifts as per business or process requirement.
