Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern

About the Role

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an opening for a Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization supporting national defense services. The selected candidate will collaborate with teams to develop strategic plans for the growth of GDMS and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a group of Strategy and Business Development professionals.
• Perform activities such as, but not limited to: running reports, collaborating on proposal development projects, financial modeling, supporting research and case study efforts.
• Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance growth efforts.
• Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.
• Perform analytical and research activities in support of business development and acquisition, strategic planning, proposal development, and marketing functions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• AI development tools such as Codex/ChatGPT
• Programming languages such as Python
• Development platforms like Gitlab
• Database structures & operations
• Data Visualization tools & techniques

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Preference in Finance, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of business principles.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
