About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our early team and help build the software behind our data and AI workflows. You’ll work closely with the Terminal bench projects based on requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work across Dynamic environment systems, APIs, databases, automation, and frontend interfaces depending on project needs.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and internal tools
- Develop systems to manage AI/data annotation workflows
- Automate repetitive operational and data-processing tasks
- Work with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability
- Debug issues and ship practical solutions quickly
- Collaborate directly with the founding team on new products and experiments
What We’re Looking For
- Strong programming fundamentals
- Experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar
- Understanding of APIs, databases, Git, and software development practice
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Willingness to learn and work across different parts of the stack
Nice to Have
- Experience with React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms and Docker
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or data annotation platforms
- Experience building internal tools, automation systems, or SaaS products
