SEO Intern

About the Role

AdBriewer is seeking a proactive, result-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This position is open for candidates based in or around Prayagraj with the flexibility of working remotely. We welcome fresh graduates and final-year college students who possess solid, practical, hands-on knowledge across search engine optimization verticals. You will be responsible for executing white-hat search optimization strategies to drive measurable ranking and organic traffic improvements within tight turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities

• On-page optimization: Execute title tag updates, meta descriptions, heading structures, URL optimizations, internal linking, image alt texts, and schema suggestions across client websites.
• Off-page SEO & link building: Perform high-quality backlink building through guest outreach, business listings, profile creations, and digital PR tactics.
• Local SEO: Manage and optimize Google Business Profile assets, maintain consistent NAP citations across local web directories, and run localized search visibility campaigns.
• Technical SEO fundamentals: Identify and resolve crawl errors, site indexation problems, broken redirects, and basic page-speed bottlenecks.
• Keyword research & competitor analysis: Identify high-intent commercial and informational search queries to unlock quick organic visibility wins.
• Performance reporting: Monitor organic performance, impressions, clicks, and rankings using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tracking suites.
• Ethical best practices: Ensure every optimization follows Google Search Essentials to secure stable, sustainable search ranks without risk of penalties.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Fresh graduates or students in their final year of college.
• Strong, practical hands-on experience in on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO.
• Ability to implement optimizations swiftly and deliver measurable search growth in minimal turnaround time.
• Familiarity with web performance tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear written English communication.
• Self-driven mindset capable of working productively in a remote setup.
• Availability to join immediately.

Preferred Bonus Skills

• Basic hands-on experience or working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager for Facebook and Instagram advertising.
• Familiarity with Google Ads setup, keyword targeting, or performance monitoring.
• Basic understanding of WordPress or common content management systems.
