About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Create charts and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Track key business metrics (KPIs) and share regular performance reports.
- Support business teams by answering data-related questions and ad-hoc requests.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams through online tools.
- Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards.
- For experienced candidates: Mentor junior analysts and independently own end-to-end reporting projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SQL
- MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (experience or familiarity)
- Python or R (basic knowledge)
- Statistics and data interpretation
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills (ability to explain insights to non-technical teams)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
- Stable internet connection and own laptop
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
For Freshers:
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization.
- Internships or academic projects are a plus.
For Experienced (0 to 2 years):
- Hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard building.
