Chartered Accountant

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. The role involves preparing management reports, analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and advising on financial controls and process improvements. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to provide accurate, timely financial information and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining books of accounts
• Preparing financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations
• Managing audits
• Reviewing GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Supporting tax planning and advisory for clients
• Preparing management reports
• Analyzing financial data
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Advising on financial controls and process improvements
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in accounting and ERP/software tools, such as advanced MS Excel, accounting packages (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), and the ability to learn new financial systems.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills, including preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flow statements, and consolidation of financials.
• Tax and regulatory compliance skills, including direct and indirect tax knowledge, GST/VAT, TDS, corporate tax filings, and familiarity with local statutory requirements.
• Audit and assurance skills, including planning and executing internal and external audits, risk assessment, and implementing effective internal controls.
• Financial analysis and management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and business performance reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institute.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, or consulting will be beneficial.
