About the Role

Dow has exciting opportunities for new graduate Bachelor and Masters candidates interested in a career in Research & Development. Opportunities exist across the R&D function, including process research, technical service & development, pilot plant technology, and data science/engineering, aligned with various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions.
• Optimize processes and applications to align with business and customer goals.
• Stay current with developments in relevant areas of technology.
• Develop problem-solving skills in one or more areas of technology.
• Assist in the deployment of new products and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and solve customer problems.
• Contribute to Dow’s broader business and sustainability goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or other related disciplines.
• A graduation date of no later than September 2027.
• Ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant full-time work experience post-graduation is NOT required, as this role is for individuals early in their professional journey.

• Safety Mindset: A strong safety mindset.

• Preferred: A minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.000).
• Possession of a TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one may be required based on final hiring location.
