SAP Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SAP Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in SAP ABAP RAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, and OData services to develop, enhance, and integrate modern SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end SAP applications using SAP ABAP RAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP.
• Develop backend business logic and RESTful services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views, behavior definitions, behavior implementations, and service bindings.
• Develop responsive SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements.
• Create, expose, and consume OData services to integrate frontend applications with backend business logic.
• Develop and enhance SAP BTP applications using ABAP Cloud and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), as required.
• Integrate SAP applications with SAP and external systems using APIs and appropriate integration mechanisms.
• Work with SAP HANA Cloud and cloud-based application services where required.
• Implement application enhancements, workflows, validations, and business-specific functionalities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
• Follow SAP development standards, clean-core principles, and best practices for cloud-ready application development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP application development across frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience with managed and unmanaged RAP implementations, including draft and non-draft scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of CDS views, annotations, behavior definitions, and service definitions and bindings.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori Elements.
• Experience developing and consuming OData services, preferably OData V4.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP ABAP Environment and ABAP Cloud development.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing.
• Familiarity with SAP transport management and application deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), preferably Node.js.
• Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BTP application services.
• Experience with SAP Build Work Zone or SAP Launchpad configuration.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP CI/CD and Cloud Transport Management Service.
• Understanding of multitenant SaaS application development.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and side-by-side extension approaches.
• Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP, RAP, SAP Fiori, or SAP BTP are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to develop complete SAP solutions spanning frontend, backend, and service integration.
• Good understanding of modern SAP application architecture and cloud development.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
