About the Role

The Vastu Consultant role at Vastu Movement is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Vastu assessments of homes, offices, and other properties.
• Perform site visits, layout reviews, and detailed analysis of spatial arrangements.
• Meet clients, understand their goals and concerns.
• Prepare Vastu recommendations.
• Present clear, actionable plans.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate Vastu suggestions into design and renovation projects.
• Document findings and maintain client records.
• Support educational content or workshops.
• Stay updated on contemporary applications of Vastu in urban settings.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Vastu principles, traditional texts, and practical applications for residential and commercial spaces.
• Ability to analyze floor plans, building layouts, and site orientation.
• Comfort working with architects, designers, and contractors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, approachable language.
• Attention to detail, structured documentation habits, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple client engagements.
• Professional consulting mindset, including ethical client service, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse beliefs and practices.
• Proficiency in English and local languages commonly used in Mumbai.
• Willingness to travel within Mumbai for site visits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Vastu principles, traditional texts, and practical applications for residential and commercial spaces.
• Prior experience in Vastu consulting, architecture, interior design, or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant certification or formal training in Vastu Shastra or allied disciplines is an advantage.
