Role Description

The Article Trainee role at KGMC India is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The trainee will support finance and accounting outsourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing financial documents
• Assisting with bookkeeping
• Helping with reconciliations and reporting
• Data entry and validation
• Working with financial software
• Supporting audits and compliance tasks
• Helping senior team members with client deliverables
• Researching financial regulations or best practices
• Documenting processes
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Learning quickly, following established procedures, and maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting and finance concepts, with the ability to apply them to practical business scenarios.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and financial tools; familiarity with MS Excel or similar software is highly beneficial.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing numerical data, documentation, and reconciliations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting work clearly.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, manage time well, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional attitude, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client and company information.
• Relevant academic background in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Pursuing or having completed a professional qualification (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
