About the Role

The Sales and Service Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their vehicle care needs, and recommending suitable detailing and eco-friendly service packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their vehicle care needs.
• Recommend suitable detailing and eco-friendly service packages.
• Handle inquiries, explain service features and pricing.
• Manage basic documentation or billing.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming customer area.
• Provide updates on service status.
• Support after-service follow-up to encourage repeat business.
• Track customer feedback.
• Assist with promotions or local marketing activities.
• Adhere to company standards for safety, quality, and customer experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
• Comfort working on-site in a vehicle service environment.
• Willingness to follow all safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Basic computer or point-of-sale system familiarity.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation of services, and professional handling of customer concerns.
• Sales and relationship-building skills, including recommending service packages, supporting upselling and cross-selling, and maintaining long-term customer rapport.
• Basic administrative and organizational skills, including handling billing/documentation, managing appointments, and coordinating with service teams.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work closely with technicians, supervisors, and other associates.
• Problem-solving and adaptability skills, including responding to unexpected situations, learning new service offerings, and adhering to updated processes or technologies.
• Prior experience in automotive services, retail, or hospitality customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• Proficiency in local languages and English will be beneficial.
