Machinery Attendant, Housekeeping

About the Role

The Housekeeping Machinery Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, back-of-house spaces, and other assigned areas throughout the property through the use of specialized cleaning equipment and machinery. This position supports the Housekeeping team by performing floor care, deep cleaning, and preventive maintenance of housekeeping equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Sign-On Bonus: $2000. New hires receive $1000 after 90 days of employment and the remaining $1000 after 180 days of employment.

Probationary Rate: $22.81

Hourly Rate: $26.83

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of public areas, back-of-house spaces, and assigned areas.
• Using specialized cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Performing floor care.
• Performing deep cleaning.
• Performing preventive maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, floor care, or related experience preferred but not required.
• No experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and move moderate to heavy weight.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout the property.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to provide full availability and work a flexible schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
