About the Role

• Full-time, permanent position
• Location: Hamburg

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for selected suppliers and develop them further together with strategic purchasing.
• Analyze markets and prices, request quotations, compare conditions, and prepare results clearly to facilitate procurement decisions.
• Support the preparation of negotiations as well as the creation of presentations, evaluations, and decision-making bases.
• Maintain and update purchasing data and ensure reliable documentation.
• Support the digitalization of purchasing processes and actively participate in the development and implementation of digital purchasing solutions.
• Act as a contact person for our operating units regarding suppliers and conditions.
• Undertake other administrative and organizational tasks as required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Commercial apprenticeship or a successfully completed business administration degree, or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in purchasing, internal sales, or a comparable commercial function is advantageous.
• Interest in professional and personal development within purchasing.
• Enjoy working with numbers, data, and digital systems, with high IT affinity.
• Work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner, maintaining an overview even with multiple tasks.
• Demonstrate team spirit, service orientation, and open, friendly communication.
