Data Analyst Trainee

About the Role

MedTourEasy Punjab is a growing organization focused on improving access to healthcare-related services and information through technology and data-driven solutions. The Data Analyst Traineeship program is a remote program focused on learning and supporting data-driven decision-making. The program provides trainees exposure to real-world data challenges in the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.
• Help with basic data analysis and reporting under guidance from senior team members.
• Support data modeling tasks.
• Prepare simple dashboards or visual summaries.
• Contribute to documentation of methods and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate analysis results in clear terms.
• Participate in regular check-ins to review progress and learn best practices in data analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and a keen interest in problem-solving.
• Foundational Data Analytics skills, including working with datasets and basic tools or software.
• Knowledge of Statistics to understand and interpret quantitative information.
• Communication skills to explain data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Basic Data Modeling skills or a willingness to learn structured approaches to organizing data.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a strong motivation to learn in a trainee capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets).
• Introductory experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
• Currently pursuing or having completed studies in a quantitative, technical, or related field (such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics).
