Management Information System Executive

About the Role

The Management Information System (MIS) Executive will manage and maintain MIS reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across operations at bigbasket. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad includes collecting, validating, and analyzing data from various internal systems, and preparing periodic and ad hoc performance reports for management. The role involves monitoring key metrics, identifying trends and anomalies, and sharing insights with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and productivity. The MIS Executive will collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, automate recurring reports where possible, and ensure data accuracy and timely dissemination. This role may also support process documentation, basic troubleshooting of information systems issues, and continuous improvement initiatives in reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MIS reports and dashboards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau).

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Systems and Management Information Systems (MIS), with the ability to understand system workflows and data structures.
• Excellent Analytical Skills and experience in MIS Reporting, including data compilation, interpretation, and creation of clear, actionable dashboards.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and clarify reporting requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple reporting tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, logistics, or FMCG operations is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
