This internship is built around practical content work: writing blog articles, researching keywords, drafting social media posts, and learning how good writing gets found and read online. This role suits candidates who want to build a career in content writing, copywriting, SEO writing, digital marketing, or social media content creation.

Role Overview

As a Content Writer Intern, you will work on structured writing assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. You will learn how professionals plan a topic, research it, write for a specific audience, optimize it for search, and check how the finished piece performs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics and write original blog articles, web page copy, and short posts
• Do keyword research and apply basic on-page SEO to articles and web pages
• Write captions and posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms
• Edit and proofread your own work and your teammates' drafts for grammar and clarity
• Follow a content calendar and deliver drafts on agreed dates
• Create simple post graphics using Canva where needed
• Track reach, clicks, and engagement and note which content worked
• Keep sources organized and make sure every piece is original and plagiarism-free

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong written English with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Ability to research a topic and explain it simply
• Ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
• Basic understanding of how SEO and keywords work
• Ability to meet deadlines and take editing feedback well
• A laptop and a stable internet connection for remote work

Qualifications

• Freshers, entry-level candidates, or students pursuing or completing BA, BBA, B.Com, BMM, B.Sc, MA (English, Mass Communication, Journalism) or any degree with strong writing skills
• Self-taught writers who can show their work through a blog, portfolio, or writing samples
• Candidates interested in content, SEO, and digital marketing
• Candidates available to work full-time for the internship period

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with WordPress, Canva, or Google Docs
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, or Semrush
• A blog, social page, or writing sample you have created
