AI powered SCADA Specialist

About the Role

• Full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for partial work from home.
• Responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SCADA systems integrated with AI-driven analytics to monitor and optimize industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing data acquisition strategies.
• Integrating field devices and control systems.
• Ensuring secure, reliable data flows between SCADA platforms and AI models.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into intelligent automation solutions.
• Troubleshooting system issues.
• Refining dashboards and alerts for real-time decision support.
• Documenting configurations.
• Contributing to best practices.
• Supporting client implementations and upgrades.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong SCADA expertise, including system architecture, configuration, and integration with PLCs, RTUs, and field devices.
• Hands-on experience with AI, data analytics, or machine learning integration into industrial control systems or operational technology environments.
• Proficiency with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, MQTT).
• Familiarity with IIoT platforms or edge computing solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles for SCADA and OT networks, including secure data handling and access controls.
• Comfort with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, C#, or similar) for automation, data processing, and API-based integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail in system configuration and monitoring.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineering, data science, and client stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in SCADA, industrial automation, or AI are an advantage.
• Prior experience in industrial domains such as utilities, manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure projects is beneficial.
