Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven Financial Controller to lead financial management, business planning, profitability analysis, and financial reporting. The role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and strategic business acumen, working closely with leadership to drive growth, cost efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business planning, and variance analysis.
• Sales & Profitability: Analyze revenue, margins, category-wise/SKU-wise profitability, region wise profitability, unit economics, and business performance.
• Pricing & Cost Control: Product costing, pricing strategy, margin optimization, expense monitoring, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Marketing Analytics: Evaluate marketing spend, ROAS, customer acquisition costs, and campaign-level profitability.
• Investor & Management Reporting: Prepare investor decks, financial presentations, business plans, MIS dashboards, and strategic performance reports.
• Accounting & Compliance: Oversee financial statements, accounting operations, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Working Capital Management: Monitor cash flows, inventory, receivables, payables, and working capital efficiency.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, operations, and leadership teams on commercial and financial decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance or relevant finance qualification.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
• Strong experience in financial controlling, FP&A, financial modelling, and business analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, MIS reporting, and financial presentations.
• Solid understanding of product costing, pricing, financial controls, and profitability analysis.
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer businesses preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
