About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic 3D Modeling Intern to join our creative team. In this role, you will work closely with our senior artists and designers to create high-quality 3D assets, props, and environments. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and the opportunity to see your work utilized in live projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Creation: Develop high-quality 3D assets, including low-poly and high-poly models, based on concept art or reference images.
• Texturing & Shading: Apply textures, maps, and materials to models using UV unwrapping techniques.
• Collaboration: Work alongside concept artists, animators, and developers to ensure assets meet technical and stylistic guidelines.
• Optimization: Clean up geometry and optimize 3D models to ensure they perform efficiently within the production pipeline or game engine.
• Feedback Integration: Actively participate in team reviews and implement constructive feedback to refine your work.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency: Strong foundational skills in industry-standard 3D software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Texturing Skills: Basic familiarity with texturing tools like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
• Topology Knowledge: Good understanding of clean topology, polygon counts, and efficient UV layout workflows.

Soft Skills & Education

• Education: Currently in final semester or writing final year exams or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for form, shape, scale, and realistic/stylistic proportions.

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with real-time game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Basic knowledge of sculpting tools like ZBrush.
• Familiarity with version control systems (like Git or Perforce).
