Procurement Operations New Associate

About the Role

You will be working as a part of the Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team with a predetermined, narrow scope of work. Your primary interaction is within your own team and your direct supervisor. You will be given detailed instructions on all tasks. The decisions that you make impact your own work and are closely supervised.

Key Responsibilities

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
• Identify needs, find and qualify suppliers, request proposals, negotiate with suppliers, contract, manage delivery, and analyze results.
• Analyze and design best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
• Provide setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data, and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
• Solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
