Junior Executive, Accounting and Taxation

About the Role

TMF Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Executive to support the Finance & Accounts team. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to build a career in accounting and gain practical exposure to financial processes, documentation, reconciliations, and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording day-to-day accounting transactions in the accounting system.
• Support invoice verification and documentation activities.
• Maintain and organize accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist with bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Support preparation of routine accounting schedules and reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams for collection of accounting-related information.
• Assist in tracking outstanding invoices and follow-up activities.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing basic reconciliations and reports.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of statutory and financial documents.
• Participate in process improvement and data-clean-up initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• Graduates, or equivalent.
• Strong academic understanding of accounting concepts and bookkeeping principles.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates with a strong learning mindset and interest in pursuing a career in Accounting & Finance will be preferred.
