About the Role

XNodes Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Trainee – IT Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure & Cabling (Initial Focus)
• Learn Structured Cabling: Route, bundle, and dress copper (CAT6) and fiber-optic cables.
• Master Terminations: Crimp RJ-45 connectors, punch down patch panels, and perform fiber-optic fusion splicing.
• Physical Setup: Assist in assembling and installing server racks, cabinets, cable trays, and containment systems.
• Testing & Tools: Use network testers (like Fluke meters) to scan for errors and fix connections.
• IT Hardware Deployment & "Break-Fix" Maintenance
• "Rack and Stack" Operations: Unbox, inventory, and mount servers, storage boxes, and network switches.
• Server Maintenance: Troubleshoot internal computer components and replace faulty parts such as RAM modules, Hard Drives/SSDs, cooling fans, and Power Supplies (PSUs).
• Inventory Management: Learn to use Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software to track inventory and equipment status.

Qualifications

• Education
• ITI Pass-out: Information Technology, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, or related technical trades.
• Diploma Pass-out: Computer Science, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or Information Technology.
• Experience
• Freshers Only (0–1 years of experience).
• Recent graduates are highly encouraged.
• Language
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals or labelling in English.
