About the Role
The Healthcare Specialist at SONA SCALE is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The individual in this role will provide medical support and emergency response within the campus, including initial assessment, stabilization, and referral of learners and staff requiring urgent care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical support and emergency response.
- Conduct initial assessment, stabilization, and referral of individuals requiring urgent care.
- Perform basic health screenings.
- Maintain medical records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety protocols.
- Deliver training sessions on first aid, emergency preparedness, and general health awareness.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to support a safe learning environment.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers.
- Participate proactively in wellness and preventive care initiatives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Clinical and emergency care skills: including EMT and foundational Medicine knowledge.
- Strong Communication abilities.
- Experience in Training related to first aid, emergency procedures, and health awareness programs in educational or organizational settings.
- Understanding of Healthcare practices, protocols, and documentation, with a focus on campus health, safety, and preventive care.
- Knowledge of basic occupational health and safety standards.
- Familiarity with emergency equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven education environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification or diploma in EMT, nursing, paramedical sciences, or a related healthcare field.
- Registration with appropriate professional bodies is an advantage.
- Prior experience in an educational institution, corporate health unit, or similar setting is preferred.
