Junior Architect

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Kochi. The role involves supporting the design and development of residential, institutional, commercial, and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in concept development, schematic design, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare CAD and 3D models.
• Create presentations.
• Coordinate with consultants.
• Contribute to design documentation and construction drawings.
• Participate in design reviews and site visits.
• Perform basic project coordination tasks under guidance.
• Contribute to visualization, object design, and studio research initiatives where relevant.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite) is highly beneficial.
• Skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and preparation of drawings and models.
• Skills in Project Management, such as basic coordination with consultants, tracking timelines, and supporting documentation for project deliverables.
• Skills in Software Development and Integration only as they relate to architectural workflows, digital tools, and interoperability between design platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into clear visual and technical outputs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work constructively in a studio environment.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Internship or 0–2 years of experience in architectural practice is preferred.
• Interest in research, visualization, and interdisciplinary work involving art and objects is an added advantage.
