Key Responsibilities

• Follow document control and QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring accurate issuance and appropriate filing/archiving of drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in compiling design specifications within given deadlines, checking compliance with the project brief through calculations and cross-referencing manufacturer's literature, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and guides.
• Organize and carry out detailed design to WSP in India and B Regulations standards, ensuring CDM, QA, and technical review and sign-off by the project leader, including complex calculations and co-ordination issues.
• Organize and undertake technical calculations to industry standards in conjunction with team members.
• Supervise team members' work to ensure delegated tasks are completed to deadlines and standards.
• Report any issues, risks, or client changes to the project leader.
• Prepare elemental work for project budget costing as delegated by the senior team member, within agreed deadlines and standards.
• Address day-to-day queries from the WSP in India UK Team, ensuring timely availability of relevant information for construction activity.
• Contribute to and question technical and construction issues.
• Encourage and assist trainees in understanding the design process.
• Determine appropriate software for Computer Aided Design, construct models, and undertake analysis and manual checks.
