About the Role

Valourithm Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Manual Tester Intern eager to learn software testing through real-world projects. This is a full-time, remote internship lasting 6 months, with an immediate start.

Role Overview

This internship focuses on the manual testing of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to identify bugs, enhance software quality, and ensure a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications manually
• Identify, report, and track bugs/issues clearly
• Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Check application functionality, usability, and responsiveness
• Coordinate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Maintain proper testing reports and documentation
• Participate in daily task discussions and updates

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Practical understanding of software testing concepts
• Good observation and analytical skills
• Understanding of web and mobile applications
• Ability to identify UI/UX and functional issues
• Basic understanding of SDLC/STLC concepts
• Good logical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong willingness to learn and improve
• Discipline, ownership, and attention to detail
• Experience with practical projects, testing assignments, or real applications
• Comfort testing applications independently
• Comfort working remotely and managing responsibilities professionally

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of test case writing
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend workflows
• Basic knowledge of browser inspection tools
• Understanding of responsive testing across devices

Qualifications

• Candidates interested in software testing and quality assurance
• Applicants with project/testing experience will be preferred.
