About the Role
V2X is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. You will join the Hardware Engineering team and work on the design, development, integration, and testing of digital electronics products.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing basic support for design activities, generating engineering drawings, developing models, integrating and testing digital electronics products.
- Performing trade studies.
- Applying engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.
- Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under general guidance.
- Following established Hardware Engineering processes and procedures.
- Expected to work with technical direction at a medium level of independence.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Exposure to digital circuit design, schematic capture, and simulation.
- Electrical Engineering or related course work.
- MS Office or other presentation tools.
- Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience is desired.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and proven leadership skills.
- Customer focus and ability to collaborate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer), or a closely related STEM field.
- Must have obtained Junior, Senior or Post graduate status as of Spring 2026.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired.
