Young Apprentice

Role Purpose

To support daily business and operational activities by following established processes and delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality results. The role requires a positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders.

Role Overview

This role in the US Consumer Cards India Operations team supports daily business and operational activities to help ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role involves performing routine tasks, maintaining data accuracy and records, resolving basic issues, and following established procedures. Working closely with team members, stakeholders, and other departments, the apprentice contributes to operational goals, supports process improvements, and delivers high-quality service while continuing to develop skills, knowledge, and professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Execution

• Support day-to-day business and operational activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Support an expansive and diverse array of products and services.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations

• Provide timely, professional, and effective support to customers, stakeholders, and team members by addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving routine issues.
• Maintain professionalism, a customer-focused mindset, and strong written communication skills in all interactions.

Data, Documentation & Reporting

• Assist with data updates, record maintenance, and accurate documentation of activities and interactions.
• Track progress, prepare status updates, and maintain project or task records.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

• Collaborate and work effectively with team members, other departments, and stakeholders to support operational goals and improve processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support change management efforts.
• Participate in training, testing, and implementation of new processes or system changes.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Monitor processes, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve routine problems, while assessing and escalating complex cases, risks, or concerns appropriately.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of organizational processes, policies, and services.
• Deliver a high standard of service and consistently meet performance, quality, and productivity targets to help achieve team goals.
• Ensure the security, confidentiality, and protection of sensitive information.

Shift Requirement

• Willing to work in any shift including late night and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
