Revenue Assurance Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Revenue Assurance Intern to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring, auditing, and safeguarding revenue streams across various channels and platforms (such as aggregators like Swiggy and Zomato, as well as direct-to-consumer platforms). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify revenue leakages, audit promotional/pricing variances, and reconcile financial data to ensure operational and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Reconciliation & Audit: Perform periodic reconciliations of sales, payouts, cancellations, discounts, and commission data across third-party aggregators and internal POS/ERP systems.
• Leakage Identification: Identify gaps, discrepancies, or revenue leakages across menu pricing, promo codes, delivery charges, and order refund structures.
• Process Review & Control: Monitor order fulfillment pipelines, deactivations, uptime metrics, and order level breakdowns to pinpoint operational inefficiencies affecting revenue.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Assist in creating, updating, and automating weekly/monthly revenue assurance trackers, dashboards, and P&L variance reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Tech, and Account Management teams to resolve dispute claims, manage vendor reconciliations, and implement corrective controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, data validation) is a good to have.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Python is a plus.

Analytical Mindset

• Excellent numerical ability with a sharp eye for detail and pattern recognition in large datasets.

Communication

• Clear written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Problem-Solving

• Ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and follow through on resolution of discrepancies.
