About the Role

Manager - Data and Analytics at HSBC.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute moderate to complex analysis and strategy with proper instructions.
• Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards.
• Drive business benefit through self-initiated projects.
• Continually reassess operational risks, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
• Implement Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with relevant compliance officers.
• Observe all relevant processes/procedures and liaise with the Compliance department about new business initiatives.
• Ensure adequate resources are in place and training is provided.
• Foster a compliance culture and optimize relations with regulators.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Expertise in core Python and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Hands-on experience in software development and deployment.
• Exposure to JavaScript and Selenium.
• Good knowledge of Machine Learning, Generative Artificial Intelligence, and Agentic Artificial Intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a Doctor of Philosophy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to coach/train new team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
