About the Role
ParserBee is hiring two AI Research Interns to work on the model training side of their AI. This is a hands-on research role focused on exploring, experimenting with, and evaluating approaches to training language models for document parsing.
Key Responsibilities
- Research current methods for training and improving language models, and summarise findings.
- Prepare, clean, and organise datasets for training and evaluation.
- Design and run training experiments, tracking and comparing results.
- Build simple, repeatable evaluations to assess model improvements.
- Write clear notes on experiment outcomes and insights.
- Present findings to the team and suggest next steps.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Prior hands-on experience training LLMs or other machine learning models (from job, internship, research, coursework, personal project, hackathon, or Kaggle competition).
- Good working knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred).
- Solid grasp of model training basics: how models are trained, overfitting, and evaluating model improvement.
- Curiosity, patience, and the habit of documenting work.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem or similar open model tooling.
- Experience running training jobs on GPUs (local, Colab, Kaggle, or cloud).
- Exposure to NLP, document understanding, or OCR.
- A GitHub profile, blog, paper, or notebook showcasing work.
Internship Details
- Openings: 2
- Stipend: ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month
- Location: Remote (India)
- Duration: 3 months (possibility to extend)
- Start Date: December 2026
