About the Internship

At Medinex Workforce, code is used to streamline recruitment tasks such as logging candidate details, matching profiles, sending confirmations, and updating statuses. This internship offers the opportunity to write Python programs to automate these tasks and observe the impact of scripts and web services on a recruiting team's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build small web services and internal tools using Flask.
• Design PostgreSQL tables and write necessary queries.
• Create scripts for data movement between spreadsheets, databases, and email tools.
• Implement input checks and error handling for tool robustness.
• Write tests for shipped code.
• Utilize Git and GitHub, participating in code reviews.
• Maintain brief documentation for tool functionality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Python basics (functions, classes, lists, dictionaries, file handling).
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Flask or Django, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
• Habit of reading documentation and error messages.
• Clear written English for documentation.
• Laptop and stable internet connection.

Nice to Have

• A GitHub repository with a small project.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with Pandas.

Qualifications

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA or related streams.
• Self-taught developers who can showcase a project or certificate.
• Freshers are welcome, and prior experience is not required.
• Must be available full-time for the internship period (1 to 3 months).
