About the Internship
A staffing business generates answers to important questions every day, but only if someone reads the numbers properly. This internship involves working with real recruitment data to answer questions like:
- How many candidates were submitted this week?
- Which sourcing channel provides the most joiners?
- Which clients take the longest to close a role?
You will learn how analysts move from a raw spreadsheet to a clear recommendation.
What You Will Do
- Write SQL queries to extract candidate, client, and placement data.
- Clean exported files in Excel, removing duplicates, blanks, and wrong entries.
- Build live dashboards in Looker Studio for the recruitment and operations teams.
- Calculate weekly metrics such as submission rate, interview rate, and joining rate.
- Compare current week's data with the previous week and explain changes.
- Validate every report against the source data before submission to managers.
- Maintain records of report building processes for team replication.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters).
- Good Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and charts.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau (even from practice projects).
- Clear written English.
- Careful habits and patience with messy data.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
Nice to Have
- Basic Python with Pandas.
- A practice dashboard or case study built by yourself.
- Interest in recruitment or healthcare data.
Who Can Apply
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MCA, MBA, or any stream with strong analytical skills.
- Self-taught learners who can show a project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience is not required.
- Must be available full-time for the internship period.
