About the Role
The Junior Data Analyst Intern will support the analysis of business and technology data to help improve services and internal decision-making. This is an internship role and is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and clean datasets.
- Assist in building basic reports and dashboards.
- Help identify trends and patterns that inform business insights.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to document findings.
- Maintain data accuracy.
- Support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in data analysis, including familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and basic statistical concepts.
- Exposure to data visualization tools or techniques (e.g., charts, dashboards) and an interest in presenting data clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of databases or query languages (e.g., introductory SQL) and a willingness to learn more advanced data tools.
- Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and data quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- Interest in technology, digital transformation, and learning how data supports business and IT decision-making.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a remote internship setting.
