About the Role
The Business Data Analyst intern will support data-driven decision-making across product, marketing, and operations. This remote internship role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing user and platform data to identify trends, measure performance, and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards.
- Prepare regular reports.
- Contribute to experiments that improve user experience and conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret findings.
- Present recommendations.
- Assist in designing data models that support key business metrics.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel
- SQL
- Basic BI platforms
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is beneficial.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach.
- Data analytics skills.
- A foundation in statistics, including understanding of distributions, hypothesis testing, and basic inferential methods.
- Data modeling skills to design and interpret data structures and business metrics.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
