Full Stack Engineer [Java]

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking a Full Stack Engineer [Java] for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is suitable for fresh graduates and experienced professionals interested in Java full stack engineering, frontend and backend development, web applications, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, enterprise systems, and modern software-development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based backend services.
• Develop responsive frontend applications.
• Build APIs, databases, dashboards, enterprise platforms, internal tools, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java
• Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts: classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, interfaces, collections, exception handling, multithreading, concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices.
• Backend Technologies (Familiarity beneficial): Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar.
• Frontend Fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, responsive design, semantic HTML, modern frontend development fundamentals.
• Frontend Frameworks/Libraries (Familiarity beneficial): React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js, or similar.
• State Management (Familiarity advantageous): Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, NgRx, Zustand, MobX, or similar.
• UI Frameworks (Exposure beneficial): Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Angular Material, Ant Design, or similar.
• API Concepts: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API design, API integration, frontend-backend communication.
• Databases (Familiarity beneficial): SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases.
• Database Concepts (Familiarity advantageous): database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, basic query optimization.
• Microservices/Distributed Systems (Exposure beneficial but not mandatory): microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, event-driven systems.
• Build Tools & Version Control: Maven, Gradle, npm, yarn, pnpm, Vite, Webpack, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, code reviews, collaborative workflows.
• Testing (Exposure beneficial): JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, automated testing.
• Messaging/Caching (Exposure beneficial): Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, background jobs, event-driven architecture.
• Cloud & DevOps (Exposure beneficial): AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar.
• Linux/Command Line: basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, production support.
• Security (Familiarity beneficial): OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, API security, session management, authentication, authorization, encryption, input validation, application security concepts.
• Performance Optimization (Exposure advantageous): frontend and backend performance optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, caching, database tuning, connection pooling, scalability, reliability, observability, troubleshooting.
• ORM Technologies (Familiarity beneficial): ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transaction management, backend data-access patterns.
• UI/UX Fundamentals (Exposure advantageous but not mandatory): UI/UX fundamentals, Figma, wireframes, design systems, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, mobile-first development.
• Web Architectures (Exposure beneficial): single-page applications, progressive web applications, server-side rendering, static generation, or similar.
• Additional Advantages: Exposure to automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications.
• Agile Methodologies (Familiarity advantageous but not mandatory): Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, requirements gathering, user stories, technical documentation, sprint planning, issue tracking.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Java full stack development, software engineering, Java development, frontend development, backend development, web development, application development, or related technology roles are encouraged to apply. Candidates without previous full-time Java full stack development experience can also apply.
• Projects/Contributions (Considered but not mandatory): Internship, academic project, Java project, Spring Boot project, React project, Angular project, full stack project, frontend project, backend project, API project, database project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution.
