About the Role

Gaming Laboratories International is hiring a Math Associate in Pondicherry, India. This is an entry-level, FULL_TIME opportunity for graduates with a math background.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing and Math Analysis
• Writing programs and performing analyses to calculate mathematical features of games.
• Writing programs or scripts to manipulate, parse, or reorganize large data files.
• Conducting and interpreting statistical testing on game simulation results and RNG data.
• Reading and interpreting jurisdictional requirements.
• Reviewing and Documenting
• Reading and modifying programs and analyses.
• Reviewing, understanding, and documenting source code.
• Writing project reports.
• Reviewing analysis work conducted by others for accuracy.
• Communicating Externally and Internally
• Working with external clients on technical topics.
• Communicating and collaborating with the Math Department and other employees.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of coding languages such as Python / Java is essential.
• Knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and Combinatorics.
• Knowledge of a modern, object-oriented programming language like C++.
• Understanding of core programming concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• An Associate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science may be considered.
• 0-2 years of equivalent experience may be considered.
• Certification, formal training, or experience may be evaluated in lieu of educational requirements.
• Ability to communicate both orally and written, in English, to a high degree.
• High degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
