Web Development Intern

About the Role

Voreva is an emerging technology company building a diverse and innovative digital ecosystem. We are seeking a motivated Web Developer Intern to collaborate with design and development teams in building responsive, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop responsive web pages compatible with desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement website layouts and features.
• Assist in integrating APIs and third-party services into web applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and technical issues.
• Test website functionality, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website speed, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Maintain and update existing websites based on project requirements.
• Use version control tools such as Git and GitHub to manage code.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and project discussions.
• Document code, development processes, and project updates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field; equivalent practical skills may also be considered.
• Understanding of responsive web design and website development principles.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python is beneficial.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of REST APIs and browser developer tools is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
