Investment research intern

About the Role

GreenFlow Ventures is seeking an Investment Research Intern for a full-time remote role. The intern will support the investment team in conducting research within India’s primary and alternative investment markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct company, sector, and market research.
• Analyze financial statements.
• Build basic financial models.
• Track IPO and pre-IPO opportunities.
• Prepare research summaries and investment memos.
• Gather and organize data from public filings, industry reports, and internal databases.
• Contribute to presentations and internal reports for investment committees.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfort working with large datasets.
• Interest in capital markets, IPOs, alternative investments, and the Indian SME and high-growth business ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Solid understanding of finance fundamentals, including financial statements and basic financial reporting concepts.
• Foundational knowledge of financial planning principles.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
