About Airbound
Our mission is to make a world where everyone has access to delivery. Where goods move as freely as information moves today. This is possible. Today the cost of moving on a scooter is ₹2/km. That’s the cost of moving a 150kg mass from point A to B. We’re bringing that mass down to less than 5kgs, concurrently bringing the cost down to 10 paise/km. This is how we make deliveries a reality. This is how we create a world where we’re doing billions of deliveries per day. The tech is not there. The current cost of drone delivery is ₹100/km. We need to completely redefine the way things are done here. We’re building the world’s most efficient aircraft from the ground-up, and scaling that up to beyond anything the aerospace sector has ever seen. This cannot be an iterative process. We have to tear down all conventions and build everything up from scratch. To do this, we need nothing less than the best engineers. The ones who care about building something fundamentally different, who are deeply curious about understanding the fundamentals of everything they’re working on, who are dreamers that believe in the impossible.
About The Role
Airbound is looking for a structured, detail-oriented and proactive intern to help build and implement the systems, dashboards and processes required to support its growing Admin & Operations function. This is a 3-month internship. The role will involve consolidating operational data, developing tracking dashboards, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and establishing repeatable workflows across Admin, Procurement, Events and Field Operations. The objective is to move from ad hoc coordination and manual follow-ups to a more structured, transparent and scalable operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Tracker Development: Build and maintain dashboards to track task ownership, priorities, deadlines, pending actions and closures
- Admin & Procurement: Structure request trackers, procurement records, vendor databases, asset registers and recurring requirements calendars
- Field Operations: Establish a consistent reporting and follow-up mechanism for field visits, site readiness, operational requirements and action items across locations
- Event Management: Help implement the Event Playbook, including event timelines, run sheets, readiness checklists, contingency planning and closure reports
- Process Documentation: Create and organise SOPs, checklists, templates and process guides for recurring Admin & Operations activities
- Request Management: Help operationalise Admin, IT and Event Request Forms, ensuring requests are captured, assigned, tracked and closed systematically
- Reporting & Analysis: Develop weekly and monthly reports on request volumes, turnaround times, pending tasks, delays and utilisation of completed deliverables
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps, improve existing trackers and recommend ways to reduce missed follow-ups and last-minute execution issues
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's in any discipline
- Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Google Forms, data organisation, reporting and dashboard creation
- Good analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proactive approach, strong follow-through and willingness to learn
Work location: Hoskote, Bangalore (Headquarters)
Work Schedule: In-office role, working alternate Saturdays.
