About the Role

As an Advanced Tax Analyst in the GDS Indirect Tax Center, you will be focused on the preparation of projects and services in the domain of Indirect Tax/VAT.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare indirect tax returns and file (where applicable) these returns via the country-specific filing tool.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basic tax concepts and proactively increase tax knowledge.
• Multi-task on various projects within the tax segment and be cross-trained.
• Propose improvements to raise effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
• Develop and deliver quality and timely services and work products efficiently.
• Comply with Ernst & Young compliance procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduate/Postgraduates preferably in Commerce.
• 0 – 2 years of experience, preferably in an Accounting/Tax field.
• Demonstrate good computer knowledge - in MS Excel and a basic knowledge of other MS Office, Web-based applications.
• Basic knowledge about the functioning/usage of ERP-systems.

Ideal Qualifications

• High-level knowledge and experience of a local country Indirect Tax Compliance.
• Understanding of Global Indirect Tax Compliance and the associated processes.
